Videography Contract

This package includes up to 10 hours of videography service on your wedding day.
You will receive one 5-7 minute highlight video, one 1-2 minute social media teaser,
and one video of the full ceremony.

I agree to pay a 25% retainer fee to hold the date upon completion of this contract - $525 + tax

I agree to pay 50% of the remainder + additional agreed upon fees (add-ons) the week of the wedding - $787.50 + add-ons & tax

I agree to pay the final 50% of the remainder upon completion of the video (before the video can be released to you) - $787.50 + tax

The following constitutes the Videography Agreement (the “Agreement”) of Abigail Haar (the “Videographer”). Please read the Agreement in its entirety and contact the Videographer if you have any questions or concerns about the Agreement. As used in the Agreement, all references to “you” or “your” or the “Client” refers to the signer of this Agreement. Checking the boxes and entering your name below will serve as your electronic signature reflecting your assent to the terms and conditions of the Agreement. You will be able to preview the Agreement prior to its submission, at which time you are encouraged to print a copy for your records.

Client assumes all responsibilities for obtaining any necessary permission, clearance permits, etc., which may be required for Abigail Haar each event, public or private. Client assumes all responsibility for obtaining and retaining permission for access to any requested camera positions and is solely responsible for the quality of the final production resulting from the use of, or inability to use, such camera positions. The client warrants that he/she has the legal rights to anything Abigail Haar will videotape, including photos, musical recordings, videotapes, or any other materials delivered to Abigail Haar for inclusion in the clients video.

Abigail Haar is not responsible for dark or grainy video resulting from inadequate lighting or the refusal of the client to allow lighting at the reception, or electrical or mechanical malfunctions on location that are beyond our control.

Abigail Haar will establish an arrival time for the wedding date with the client prior to that date and remain on duty for the number of hours specified. Coverage hours are for the wedding date only and must be consecutive.

Abigail Haar reserves the right to use videos and photos for display and or promotional purposes. All video masters, raw footage and photographs remain the exclusive property of Abigail Haar.

Artistic Style. On its own behalf and on behalf of the subject: Abigail Haar will do her best to meet the Client's wishes and expectations, Client acknowledges that he/she is familiar with the Abigail Haar's portfolio and is requesting services with knowledge of her style and that Abigail Haar's work is constantly evolving; that Abigail Haar's services are of a unique and artistic nature; that the video may be different from videos done by her in the past; and that in creating the videos she shall use her own creative artistic judgment to create videos consistent with her personal judgment and consistent with her vision of the event, which may be different from the clients and or the subject’s vision of the event. Accordingly, client acknowledges that the videos shall not be subject to rejection on the basis of taste or esthetic criteria.

If Abigail Haar fails to comply with the terms of this agreement due to any event beyond the control of Abigail Haar, including but not limited to illness, accident, labor disputes, acts of God and other catastrophes, or uncontrollable and unforeseeable equipment failure, Abigail Haar's liability is limited only to a refund of all monies received.

The client reserves the right to terminate the contract for any reason up to 20 days before the wedding day. Should the client terminate the contract, all money paid minus the retainer which is 25% of total cost will be refunded.
